Abstract: Southern Qinghai Plateau is rich in placer mine.The geological environment was generally severely damaged in placer gold districts due to disordered large-scale and high-strength mining activities in a long period in history,emerged a lot of mine geological environment problems.This article studied on the placer mines that have been mined in Southern Qinghai Plateau,systematically researched the main geological environment problems and recovery situation.On that basis,it proposed a recovery and management mode of "river way repair,landform flattening,soil dressing,vegetation recovery,later period management and protection",be aimed at provide reference for environment recovery in the similar districts.
