Abstract: Caesium,a rare alkalecent metal,is of a wide range of applications in modern hi tech area.The paper focuses on analyzing the type of Cs bearing deposit resources and its distribution.Due to Caesium's attribute of alkali metal,it mainly occurs in alkali rocks and salt lake,often accompanied by metals such as Li and Rb,and rare metais such as Nb and Ta.According to the type of Caesium bearing deposits,there are five kinds of occurrences The pollucite deposit in alkali gramatic pegmatite,the associated Caesium deposit in Nb and Ta deposit,meathering and sedimentary Caesium deposit, Caesium bearing brine and the Caesium bearing silicious rock in modern geothermal regions.
