Abstract: This paper studied the calculation method preliminary of greenhouse gas emission caused by the energy consumption in open pit coal mine, established the total carbon emissions calculate model and the sub-link models of the Coal energy chain with the life cycle method,through the model calculated the total emission of CO₂ when the coal burning power plant produce unit of electricity, based on the diversity of carbon emission due to different ways of the fuel,added up the two calculation models to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions caused by energy consumption in open pit mine.
