Abstract: Shall geothermal energy is a kind of the geothermal resources, which is attached to the heat cycle in certain depth of the Earth’surface, and is expoied in certain technical economic conditions. Compared with traditional geothermal, shallow geothermal energy may be basically applied everywhere in the world without geographical limitation. In China, there is vast territory, different climatic zonation, shallow geothermal resources could be large-scale developed and utilized. Through this, which promotes the development of renewable energy, and relieves the pressure of energy, achieve the transformation of the low carbon society. This article focuses on heating and cooling energy of shallow geothermal energy, analyzes the economic and environmental benefits.
