Abstract:
Shale gas reservoir is characterized by low porosity, low permeability and complex gas, while compared with conventional gas reservoirs, which adds difficulty to the logging evaluation of shale gas reservoir.In order to study the systematic logging evaluation method of shale gas reservoir, shale gas reservoir in the west Canadian basin is selected as the study object, four aspects logging evaluation parameters of the shale gas reservoir are determined by taking into account the actual development of shale gas and particularity of shale gas reservoirs.Logging evaluation model of geophysical reservoir parameters, geochemical, gas-bearing and matrix mineral component are established on the base of the theoretical Volume model and numerical regression analysis, finally establish the evaluation system of shale gas reservoir in the west Canadian sediment basin.By the analysis and comparison of the results from the laboratory and logging evaluation model, the accuracy and practicability of the evaluation model for shale gas reservoir parameters are verified.The practical application results show that the reservoir logging evaluation model based on the logging data has good accuracy, which can provide good support for the development of shale gas.
