Abstract:
As the measurement results of initial stress shows, in the tectonic stress field maximum horizontal stress is about 1.8~2.7 times of vertical stress and ratio of two horizontal stresses 1.5~2.5 times. The initial stress field is one of important factors influencing on the stability of the underground roadway. With varying the axe of initial stress field, stress state of the rock body surrounding the roadway is simulated by using COMSOL 3D finite element method software. Simulated results show that the angle between axes of maximum horizontal stress and roadway is greater, the stability of roadway is worse. Therefore when designing the arrangement of roadway in tectonic stress field, as possible as,be ought to coincident the axe of maximum horizontal stress with one of the roadway.
