Abstract: On the basis of program researches, the author in this paper gives a brief description and discussion on the mining management and investment climate of western Australia, Australia, including the endowment of mineral resources, mining management system, new established mining administrative agency and its functions, major mining acts, main mining title forms, royals and fees, approving procedures for mining investment projects and applying procedures for major mining entitlement. At the same time, the author also points out some worth-noting issues for mining investment in western Australia.
