Abstract: A series of pearlescent pigments of interference colors made from mica using normal technology are reduced in the atmosphere of ammonia(NH₃) and nitrogen(N₂) at a temperature of 800℃.The performance test of the pigments obtained from reduction demonstrates that these pigments possess the advantage of being resistant to acid,alkali,light and heat.
