Abstract: The coal has been and will be in a long term in the future the main source of power in China.More than 4/5 of the coal is deposited in the western region of China.According to the natural condition of western region of lack on water,the run-of-mine coal therefrom should be dressed in the way of dry cleaning and converted into electric power which can be transmitted to the eastern region.This is the best way of achieving a combination of upmost economic profit with upmost social profit in the utilization of western coal resource.
