Abstract: The up-and mid-stream are of the Yangtze river economic belt has rich mineral resources,while the east Yangtze river delta region has already lost the low cost advantage on the mineral processing industries,this situation makes the research on the mining industry coordinated development of Yangtze river economic belt has important realistic significance.Based on the coordinativ degree model,this paper divided the resource-extraction industries and the smelting and rolling processing industries into 4 groups according to mineral category,and calculated the coordination degree between the upstream and downstream reaches of the mining industry.The results showed that whether compared with the local resource mining industries or make regional horizontal comparison,the smelting and rolling processing industries in the east Yangtze river delta region all have comparative advantages;in addition to Chongqing,which is the highly developed city in the upstream of Yangtze river economic belt,the remaining provinces generally appeared the resource-extraction industries leading,smelting and processing industries behind pattern,Among which Guizhou is particularly evident in the coal industry,while Sichuan in the non-ferrous metals industry.Coordination in the middle area is better than the Yangtze river delta region as well as the upstream,the coal,oil and gas industries appeared the smelting and processing industry lead in general,while ferrous metal industry appeared resource-extraction industries lead,non-ferrous metal and metalloid industries overall present coordinated development trend.According to the results,this paper puts forward the responsibility and division of the Yangtze river economic belt in the coordinated development of the mining industry,in order to provide supports for the mining industrial transfer and coordinated development policy.
