Abstract: On the basis of the concept analysis of urban land intensive use,the paper constructs the evaluation index system of urban land intensive use,the evaluation index system includes four aspects,which are urban land use intensity,economic,social and eco-environment benefits.By using Entropy value method,the paper analyzes temporal and spatial difference of urban land intensive utilization in Henan Province.The results show:the economic benefit factor is the most influence factor on urban land intensive use;there are significant regional differences in the level of urban land intensive use;overall,there is an upward trend in the level of urban land intensive use in Henan province,but there are significant regional different in the magnitude of the rise.
