Abstract: The paper selects living conditions,ecological environment, economic development, social and cultural,and infrastructure etc five major composite indicators and 26 individual indicators,and uses Analytical Hierar-chy Process to estimate the livability of cities in Zhongyuan urban agglomeration. The results show that livability level in Zhengzhou City is the highest,but certainly score is not high; livability level in others is not significantly different, the overall level of livablility is not high; Urban economic conditions and ecological environment are the key factors that affect the livability level;and Urban livability standard reference value is conducive to comparative study of the region and beyond.
