Abstract: As there are not totally corresponsive legal terms in different legal systems,it is foremost to correctly translate legal terms in comparative law study.Mineral rights in China include exploration right and mining right.English translations of these legal terms are diverse now,and even some authority law dictionaries contradict each other.While translating these three legal terms into English,it is reasonable to definite the concept and content of the terms in Chinese legal system firstly,and then follow certain translating rules,finally find out the most suitable terms in mineral rights regulations from Anglo-American legal system.
