Abstract: The open-pit with specified conditions can be divided in final boundary with some stage boundaries, and the mining and wall pushback can be carried on by stages in sequence. The transi-tion stage is of lO- l5 years usually. The technical parameters of every stage are necessary to serve the mining and stripping the next stages for colse dovetail between them.
