Abstract: Mining is the pillar industry in Guizhou province.It was not only promoted economy's development and society's advancement,but also destroyed mine's geological environment hardly.The more mining exploitation increased,the more mine's geological environment serious,it affected on people's life living mining area.This paper discussed the method and technical flow which survey mine's geological environment by using remote sensing technique,and summarized the image's characteristics which is mine's geological environment,such as soil erosion,water pollution,geologic hazard,karst rock desertification,deterioration of the environment in mining area.This paper is based on multispectral remote sensing data(ETM+,SPOT5 and airborne remote sensing data),it is surveyed the mine's geological environment and influence which had brought out by mining for environment.It provided basic data for exploiting mineral resources,protecting geological environment,putting in order mine's environment,restoring and reconstructing mine's environment.
