Abstract: This paper shows the advantages, disadvantages and applying field of some existing shaft-sinking ways, analyses and discusses the use of parallel operation with protective shield in deep sinking. It is predicated that this operation combined with inner-wall hanging would be one of measures to solve the problems for deep shaft-sinking.
