Mine ecological remediation is an important part of the integrated governance of “mountains-rivers-forests-farmlands-lakes-grasslands” in the Yangtze River Basin, and also a key research direction for eco-environmental problems in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.On the basis of the environmental governance of the “Yangtze River Protection” Strategy, this paper sorts out the governance policies and cases of environmental supervision in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.And analyzes the main problems in the process of mine ecological governance in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, including lack of supervision, disorderly mining, improper disposal of tailings reservoir/slag, substandard wastewater discharge and neglect of soil pollution assessment.Especially, local governments and enterprises are lack of responsibility and legal awareness for mine ecological restoration, resulting in frequent mine ecological problems, the lack of relevant norms and standards leads to the pursuit of short and fast landscape restoration projects in the form of mine ecological restoration, and the lack of scientific prevention and control methods for pollutants such as heavy metals and acid wastewater.Finally, the corresponding governance suggestions are given from three perspectives:improving laws and supervision mechanism, perfecting mine restoration guidelines and standards, and adhering to the idea of “using waste to treat waste”, to provide theoretical supports for the “Yangtze River Protection” Strategy.
