Abstract: Prevention of geological hazard is important for public safety and ecological civilization construction.Shenzhen city is located in a coastal zone with strong interaction of sea and land, the prevention situation of geological hazard is not optimistic due to frequent extreme weather in recent years.Due to the geological environmental conditions and climatic characteristics, collapse and landslides are the main types of geological hazards in Shenzhen city, and the majority of them are caused by engineering excavation without effective support.So, it is of great significance for the construction of urban public security system to study the development rules and prevention measures of slope geological hazard.By combing the recent geological hazards prevention database and field investigation, this paper analyzes the development rules of slope geological hazards in Shenzhen city.Combined with the current prevention and management situation some problems and suggestions are put forward.
