Abstract:
In order to ensure the mining projects' rationality, it is necessary to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of mineral projects during the process of exploration and development. The feasibility evaluation is divided into three stages:scoping study, pre-feasibility study and feasibility study, and the research depth of the three stages gradually deepened.Scoping study focuses on opportunity study, its parameters are obtained by analogy with similar mines.Scoping study usually use static evaluation method to evaluate the economic value, and the error range is ±50%.Pre-feasibility study focuses on the operability of the project.Pre-feasibility study's parameters are obtained by preliminary tests and hypothetical production scenario.Pre-feasibility study is accurated within 30%, and based on known unit costs and estimated gross quantities. The feasibility study focuses on the profitability of the project.Feasibility study's parameters are obtained by simulating the condition of actual production operation.Feasibility study is usually evaluated by the method of detailed dynamic evaluation and it has a strong timeliness.Feasibility study's error range is within ±15%.
