Abstract: Zhoukoudian geological teaching is a compulsory course for students majoring in geology in China University of Geosciences(Beijing).This course aims to enable students to master the external geological working method and establish the correct geological thinking method initially through the observation and analysis of field phenomena.Based on the particularity of field teaching and the learning characteristics of contemporary college students, the author carried out game teaching activities in Zhoukoudian geological practice, and developed personalized training programs for students according to the time by adopting such games as inter-group competition, solitaire game and who is the undercover.This teaching method is suitable for field teaching and can effectively stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning.It is a beneficial attempt for teaching work.
