Abstract: During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the green development of China’s mining industry has been accelerated obviously, and the construction of green mine has become a vivid practice of the construction of ecological civilization in the mining field.However, there are still some problems, such as deviation in understanding its connotation, imbalance in construction level, lack of creation power, single evaluation method and so on.As a brand-new and multi-dimensional development concept and mode of mining industry, green mine construction provides new growth space for the development of mining industry with the sustainable development of China’s economy and society and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure during the 14th Five Year Plan period.Therefore, the development of China’s mining industry must adhere to the concept of system, put green development throughout the whole process and all aspects of mine construction, enhance the market competitiveness of mining enterprises through innovative development, improve the overall development quality with green development achievements, speed up the construction of modern mining development system, and promote the formation of new development mode, new development system and new development mode of green mine construction in line with the requirements of the new era.
