Abstract:
Abandoned mines might bring about problems such as geologic disasters, environmental pollution, and landscape destruction, which urgently need ecological restoration and reuse. In the era of ecological civilization, the ecological restoration of abandoned mines needs more systematic assessment and management of overall spatial elements. In order to explore the new path of ecological restoration for abandoned mines, the framework and basic content of ecological restoration plan of territorial spatial abandoned mines are proposed based on the ecological restoration theory.Taking Nanning city as an example, based on the comprehensive assessment of the mine ecosystem, a planning system including background evaluation, functional zoning and restoration improvement is built to develop the complex ecosystem of society, economy and nature.By delineating the functional division of mines, clarifying the degree of protection and utilization, predicting the supply capacity of land resources, then balancing the demand and supply, the restoration purpose of various abandoned mines will be determined, and various ecological restoration strategies are put forward, so that the land resources can be used appropriately.
