    Comparative research of the calculation of mineral resource reserve: a case study of Duimenshan Mining Section of Bainiuchang Polymetallic Mining Area, Mengzi, Yunnan

      云南蒙自白牛厂对门山矿段矿体呈似层状、透镜状产出,平均倾角16°,产状较缓。考虑到矿体形态简单、产状相对稳定、有用组分分布均匀等特点,选用水平投影地质块段法与基于3DMine软件的地质统计学方法对矿段进行资源储量估算。本文介绍了两种资源储量估算方法的流程步骤,对计算方法、水平投影面积、品位、矿石量、金属量及实际采矿量等多方面进行对比分析。研究结果表明,两种方法在资源储量估算结果对比的相对误差均小于7%,计算结果较为可靠。但与实际采矿量相比时,地质统计学法估算结果明显更接近实际开采量,优于水平投影地质块段法。

       

      Abstract:

      The ore bodies in Duimenshan Mining Section of Bainiuchang polymetallic Mining Area, Mengzi, Yunnan are layered and lenticular, with an average dip of 16° and a slow occurrence.Due to the characteristics of simple ore body shape, relatively stable occurrence, and uniform distribution of useful components, the horizontal projection geological block method and the geostatistical method based on 3DMine software are used to estimate the resource reserves of the ore section.This paper introduces the process steps of the two resource reserve estimation methods in detail and compares and analyzes the calculation methods, horizontal projected area, grade, ore quantity, metal quantity, and actual mining quantity.The results show that the relative errors of the two methods in the comparison of resource reserve estimation results are less than 7%, and the calculation results are relatively reliable.However, when compared with the actual mining volume, the estimated results of the geostatistical method are closer to the actual mining volume and are better than the horizontal projection geological block method.
