Abstract: At present，disposal and utilization of sludge and mine tailings have being become a major social problem that needs to be solved in the process of industrialization in our country.In this paper，the status and potential impacts of sludge and tailings in China are briefly introduced.The disposal methods of sludge and tailings at home and abroad are introduced，respectively.The mixing utilization of sludge and tailings is used to prepare sintered bricks，lightweight insulation materials，permeable bricks，lightweight aggregate，ceramic ceramics，glass products and other sintering products.The outlook of a variety of solid waste synergistic use of new ideas is presented in order to promote technology developments on solid waste resource utilization.
