Abstract:
The Congo(Kinshasa) KAMA refractory copper-cobalt oxide ore is characterized by high oxidation rate, grave sliming and large content of mica and talc, which means it will be difficult to obtain a good processing index by single flotation process.According to properties of the raw ore,the test is designed by a principle flow in which gangue with good floatability such as mica and talc will be floated first, then the oxidized ore follows and the copper and cobalt manganese ore which is hard to float will be lastly handled by magnetic separation.By dealing with raw ore of 2.56% Cu and 0.31% Co,the small beneficiation test obtains a magnetic concentrator with a grade of 32.20% Cu and 1.45% Co,and a recovery rate of 53.98% Cu and 20.75% Co,along with a magnetic concentrator with a grade of 8.89% Cu and 1.39% Co,and a recovery rate of 29.44% Cu and 38.07% Co.And the total recovery rate of Cu is 83.42%,the Co being 58.81%.
