Abstract:
Bauxite is one of the important commodities of international trade, and the separation of supply and demand space makes the international trade relations of bauxite appear complicated. The complicated changes of supply and demand in bauxite trade have also led to the evolution of bauxite international trade pattern. In order to study the evolutionary characteristics of bauxite international trade structure, this paper constructs a directional weighted network based on the complex network theory.According to the International trade data of bauxite from 2002 to 2015, we analyze the overall structural characteristics of the trade network, the power-law distribution and core country identification. The results show that China has the greatest influence in international bauxite trade between 2002 and 2015.The international trade relations of bauxite have become increasingly close and the characteristics of trade globalization have been highlighted. The share of bauxite trade is gradually being occupied by less and less countries. The centralization of trade in major countries headed by China is obvious.
