Abstract: Based on the characteristics of stratigraphy, petrology, mineralogy and industrial quality of oil shale in Bagemaode area, it is concluded that oil shale in this area is of medium oil content, low water content, high ash content, low volatile content, low calorific value, low fixed carbon and low sulfur type.Oil shale resources in Bagemaode area have large reserves, good quality, shallow burial and convenient transportation.Combined with a series of industrial analysis indexes, it is considered that it has a good prospect of development and utilization and has a wide range of uses.It is suggested that a set of integrated industrial development process of combined retorting of oil refining, ash residue and building materials can be adopted for oil shale in Bagemaode area, and then a comprehensive development and utilization project of oil shale in Bagemaode area can be built, which can provide impetus for promoting the development of regional economy.
