Research on the remote control technology of 1354 drilling jumbo based on wireless communication technology

As the downhole drilling jumbo is operating by the wired control, the cable is easily worn to cause the communication unstable and the rockfall may be a potential safety hazard for the operators during the drilling process.This paper analyzes and studies the operation principle of the 1354 drilling jumbo, and developed a 1354 drilling jumbo remote control system based on wireless communication technology, and the system is used in a mine.The results show that the system can improves the efficiency of drilling jumbo production operations, improves the working environment of downhole operators which has an important role in improving the safety of underground mine operations.
