Geological characteristics and exploration-development selection ofcopper deposits along the Belt and Road

Copper mine is an urgent need for China’s economic and social development and modernization.The countries along the Belt and Road have about 18% of the identified copper reserves in the world, and are the preferred area in which China exploit overseas copper resources.In this paper, large copper deposits in this area have been statistically analyzed, and 34 copper ore belts are divided.According to the characteristics of copper resources and the external conditions for exploration and development, 8 overseas priority areas for copper exploration and development are put forward.
