Abstract
Luokuang area is located at the northern edge of Hengshan-Wutaishan mountain domal uplift in Wutai platform uprise of Lvliang-Taihang massif. The structure is developed and the magmatic activity is strong. The metallogenic geological conditions are favorable.Based on the collection of basic geological data and the comprehensive analysis of metallogenic geological conditions, the 3D geological model and prospecting prediction model is established by Surpac with the data of surface geological boundary lines, geological sections and drills supplemented by geologic map cross-sections and the quantitative extraction of ore-controlling factors. The prospecting perspective area is circled by fuzzy weights of evidence method and 3 prospecting targets are circled and classified by information contents method.Prediction results are evaluated by export evaluation method after calculating the prospecting model and then get the probability of prospecting is 47.10%.The study results show that the Luokuang area has considerable prospecting potential and attention should be paid to the faults cross area in deep area of known ore body Au3 and the south-eastern border area of Au2 in the study area.
