Abstract
The shape feature parameters of microscopic bubble during flotation process are of great significance to the experiment of flotation conditions and mechanism research.This paper proposes a method for extracting bubble morphological features that based on bubble region selection and Canny edge detection.First, preprocess the captured image of the flotation bubble, multiply binary image after threshold segmentation and original image to obtain the bubble region, and then use the Canny edge detection to extract the parameters of the bubble edge coordinates.According to the coordinate calculate parameters such as bubble area, perimeter, and center position and convert to physical parameters.The results show that the parameter extraction method is robust and accurate.It is suitable for the extraction of bubble shape feature parameters under complex environments such as uneven illumination and noise interference.
