Present situation of study and prospect of coal bed methane industry development

Statistical analysis to the number of document, discipline, important authors and authoritative organization is made in this paper by the method of bibliometric.The hot spots, evolution course and 7 topic clustering groups of the study on CBM industry development is detected by using the Cite Space knowledge visualization software.The hot spots include CBM industry, exploitation and utilization, CBM resources, exploration and development, unconventional gas, clean coal technology.Finally, the research prospect considers that CBM exploration and development technology innovation research will still be the focus in the future.Besides, coordinated development is the main direction and the green open development aimed at comprehensive utilization of resources, production safety and environmental protection will become the new trend.
