Abstract
In order to provide the data basis for the optimization of the phosphorite and iron ore beneficiation process in Baiquan, a series of ore-dressing studies were conducted on the phosphorus-containing iron ore.The test results show that the appropriate first and second stage grind fineness for the content of -0.074 mm is 40% and 85% respectively; an iron concentrate just containing 0.03% P2O5 with 64.25% TFe grade and 50.47% TFe recovery could be obtained by the two-stage grinding and three-stage weak magnetic separation process; using closed-circuit flotation of one roughing-three cleaning-two scavenging to treat with the total tailings of the magnetic separation under the rougher dosages of 600 g/t collector and 400 g/t water glass, a phosphorus concentrate with P2O5 grade of 30.74% and recovery of 72.94% could be obtained. This study provided data support and technological guidance for the process optimization of the Baiquan iron plant.
