Simulation and optimization of mine supply chains based on petri net under postponed manufacturing

    • Targeting the differentiated demand for products from the ultimate customer in the mine supply and demand chain, it also aims to improve the efficiency of the process of the flow of mineral materials and products and achieve the optimal flow of the supply and demand chain of mines. After comprehensively analyzing the overall production and operation mode of the supply and demand chain in the mine, Petri net technology and Flexsim software was respectively used to optimize the simulation of the four-level supply and demand chain of the mine.Through the simulation, it is found that using the delayed production strategy can keep the equipment utilization within 55%-85% of the effective production and operation range. The average storage time of different stocks before and after model optimization is reduced by 35%-70% level close to zero stocks. The results show that the operation efficiency of mine supply and demand chain is greatly affected by the delayed manufacturing strategy and also makes the operation mode of mine supply and demand chain change from the standardized production based on demand forecast to the differentiated production in response to consumer demand. The model identifies and eliminates the operational bottlenecks in the supply chain and provides a reference for enterprises in a supply chain to formulate a reasonable and efficient production plan and enhance the response ability of the chain reverse flow information.
