    Study on the control technology of goafs in a iron mine

    • A iron mine was mined by using the short-hole shrinkage method.In the production, various sizes of goafs were formed under the ground, and some high-grade ore was left above the goaf-roof.In order to eliminate the threat of the goaf to underground production and surface environment and facilities, and timely recovery of high-grade ore, similar laboratory experiments are used to analyze the arch and flow characteristics of the filling granular media, and to determine the reasonable size and arrangement spacing of the surface filling wells.Combining with the status of goafs, a control method of goafs is put forward, which is combined with surface drilling monitoring and waste rock filling.According to the distribution of the roof orebody, the goaf-roof orebody recovery method combined with surface step peeling and deep hole blasting is further proposed.This method has been successfully applied in the mine and can provide reference for the goaf control with similar conditions.
