Numerical simulation analysis of Karst ground collapse stability and its prevention countermeasures:take a certain area in Shenzhen city as an example

    • With the rapid development of Shenzhen’s urbanization, the available land resources within the jurisdiction are becoming increasingly scarce, so it is particularly important to rationally develop and utilize every inch of land.About 80 km2 of the underlying strata in the eastern part of Shenzhen city are soluble rock areas of the lower carboniferous Datang bench group(C1ds), with relatively developed karst, affecting the public safety of the city and restricting the rational development and utilization of land resources. This paper takes a certain area in Shenzhen city as an example to carry out data collection, investigation and drilling.Through combing and analyzing historical data, the development form and scale of Karst are drawn up.Combined with the current urban construction situation, numerical modeling and simulation analysis are carried out by FLAC3Dsoftware to obtain the conditions under which Karst ground collapse disaster may occur in the area, and reasonable prevention and control suggestions are put forward in the hope of effectively promoting the development of Karst ground collapse disaster prevention and control in Shenzhen city, further ensuring urban public safety and improving land use efficiency.
