    Study on the main controlling factors of gas occurrence based onequispaced grid method

    • In order to gain accurate data for studying the occurrence law of coal seam gas, a method has been proposed based on equidistant grid method, which is suitable for multivariate data analysis.The gas data unit is divided by the grid method of equal spacing after analyzing the borehole data of geological exploration, geological conditions of well field in a coal mine as example.Then, the gas occurrence regularities of No.2 seam and the main controlling geological factors are studied by applying gas geological theory and linear regression method.The research results show that the top floor rock and coal seam thickness are the main controlling factors of the gas occurrence in the coal seam, and the second is the thickness of bedrock overlying the coal seam.
