Thoughts and suggestions on strengthening the qualification management of geological disasters prevention and control under the new situation

The regulations on the prevention and control of geological disasters (Decree No.394 of the State Council) issued in 2007, it stipulates the implementation of the qualification management system for the prevention and control of geological disasters, and the basic conditions for qualifications have been clarified.Strengthening the qualification management of geological disasters prevention and control units, standardizing the disaster prevention and control, maintaining the market order, improving the quality of qualified units has played an important role.But with the emergence of the new situation and social development, some new problems have arisen in the process of qualification management.This paper expounds the history and current situation of the first-class qualification management for geological hazard prevention and control, and puts forward some suggestions for further strengthening the qualification management of qualifications in terms of management system and mechanism under the new situation.
