    Calculation of mechanical parameters of fractured rock mass based on fuzzy clustering and Hoek-Brown criterion

    • In the stability analysis of the slope consisted of fissured rock mass, it is necessary to determine the mechanical parameters of fissured rock mass firstly.After statistical analysis of measurements of cleavage and cranny in Tiyier open-pit golden mine, the optimal groups and their center occurrence of the measurements can be calculated from hard clustering analysis and soft clustering analysis.According to the results of fuzzy clustering, the mechanical parameters of fissured rock mass can be determined by Hoek-Brown failure criterion.The process of determining the parameters of slope fissured rock mass of Tiyier golden mine reveals that the combination of fuzzy clustering and Hoek-Brown failure criterion is simple and practical in the engineering practice, which is instructive for slope stability analysis of similar mines.
