Analysis of the guarantee degree of major mineral resources in Yichang and its development and utilization direction

This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of mineral resources in Yichang city, the present situation of exploration, development and utilization, and the main problems existing.On the basis of the analysis of the supply and demand forecast, guarantee degree and resource potential of the main minerals in Yichang city, it considers that the guarantee degree of six mineral resources, such as phosphorus, graphite, manganese, quartz sandstone, cement raw materials, facing stone, etc.It can be used as the predominant mineral resources in Yichang city in the future, and should strengthen the development and production capacity of intensive processing products; minerals such as kaolin, garnet, gypsum, dolomite for chemical industry, limestone for calcium carbide, serpentine for chemical fertilizer and peridotite for chemical fertilizer should be encouraged and guided.Mountain enterprises actively expand the market; gold, copper, molybdenum, calcite, barite (fluorite) and other mineral security level is declining, should further strengthen exploration, and in the development of mineral resources to save and intensive use.
