Study on rockburst tendency in Xiaochangba mining area

Rockburst tendency is the basis for studying the mechanism of rockburst.In this paper, brittle rockburst index, Barton rockburst index, elastic deformation energy rockburst index and impact energy rockburst index are applied to the orebody and the surrounding rock mass of the upper and lower plates.The rockburst tendency research is conducted and comprehensive evaluation is made based on the evaluation results of various indicators.The results of the study show that the orebody and the surrounding wall rocks belong to the tendency of strong rockburst.During the mining process of the ore body, the change of ground pressure should be strengthened.Monitoring, taking appropriate measures, adopting reasonable mining methods and mining sequences could reduce the probability and intensity of rock bursts.
