Discussion on the underground coal gasfication feasibility of Laosangou coal field in Inner Mongolia

Underground coal gasification is a frontier technology integrating well building, mining and gasification.It has inherent advantages to improve the utilization rate of coal resources and reduce mining costs.Laosangou coal field of Zhungeer coal field in Inner Mongolia is the national coal resources exploration area of coal methane gas.The results show that it is feasible to use underground coal gasification technology in Laosangou coal field through the feasibility analysis of geological resource conditions, technological maturity and economic benefits.According to the conclusion of feasibility analysis, the preliminary plan of underground coal gasification demonstration project in Laosangou coal field is proposed, which involves the optimization of experimental area, selection of technology, product direction and financing channel analysis.It provides a useful reference for large-scale underground coal gasification development and production in the later stage of Lansangou coal field.
