Abstract
To demonstrate the feasibility of using waste rock to fill the horizontal quartz vein gold mine,the mechanical model of the roof is established base on the stability of the roof rock and collapse characteristics of goaf in the horizontal quartz vein gold mine.The support effect of roof surrounding rock of waste filling is analyzed, and it is shown that the collapse process of roof is effectively controlled by waste filling in the “dangerous area”.At the same time, in order to improve the validity of top filling of waste rock, it is filled with rigid foam plastic, which could realize the “integrated contact” between the waste rock and the roof.
