Analysis of current status of observation and sampling of physical geological data

Re-observation and sampling testing of physical geological data can maximize the application of physical geological data information to geological work and achieve major breakthroughs in theory and prospecting.The paper summarizes the important role of physical geological data observation and sampling services in geological science research, geological prospecting, and physical geological data management.At the same time, from the perspective of utilization purposes, users, and types of projects, the statistical analysis of the observation and sampling service work of Cores and Samples Center of Natural Resources from 2006 to 2016, the paper points out the current problems in the observation and sampling service work, and proposes further work proposals for improving industry influence, enriching collection resources, and expanding service methods.
