Abstract
Graphene oxide (GO) is prepared by modified Hummers method, and GO is characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The adsorption behavior of GO on n-pentyl xanthate, n-butyl xanthate and ethyl xanthate at different temperature conditions is investigated. The results show that the adsorption of xanthate on GO is consistent with the Langmuir isotherm adsorption model.Increasing the temperature is beneficial to the adsorption of xanthate on GO.The adsorption process is spontaneous and is physical adsorption. With the increase of xanthate carbon chain, the saturated adsorption capacity of GO on xanthate is increasing, and adsorption is more likely to occur.
