The analysis of the characteristics of measured oil and natural gas initially in place in China from 2008 to 2017 shows that the newly measured oil initially in place are mainly distributed in Ordos basin, Bohai bay basin, Tarim basin, and Junggar basin, the buried depths are mainly middle shallow and middle deep.The newly measured natural gas initially in place are mainly distributed in Ordos basin, Sichuan basin, Tarim basin, and East China Sea basin, the buried depths are mainly medium and super deep.The measured oil and natural gas initially in place have tendency to inferior, lower abundance and deepen.
