Abstract
In recent years, with the rising of rare earth’s economic and strategic value, more and more mining activities of rare earth happened in Panxi mountainous areas, Sichuan province. These production activities give a bad effect on local ecological security and residents’ safety. So, achieving precise mine production safety supervision becomes the urgent needs of local government. The paper explores to build a multi-scale remote sensing data based on GF satellite and UAV photogrammetry, for carrying out the safety monitoring research on rare earth mine. The results show that the multi-scale remote sensing data is applicable to rare earth mines’ safety supervision work.It can discover potential safety hazard quickly, monitoring hazards’ spatial parameters accurately, supporting safety analysis and project planning efficiently.Furthermore, with the good portability and applicability, this technology method has a broad market, providing a new solution for mine safety monitoring problem in complex environment.
