Abstract
Non-metallic mining industry is the foundation of national economy and has important application in national economic construction and strategic emerging industries. For a long time, we have focused on the study of important mineral resources evaluation system, but there are few studies on important mineral resources evaluation and less on important non-metallic minerals. The importance evaluation of non-metallic minerals is of great significance for scientific planning and guiding exploration deployment.By defining important non-metallic minerals and selecting 15 indicators, this paper constructs two sets of two-dimensional evaluation system for important non-metallic minerals. One is a large number of (strategic emerging) scarce minerals assessed from two dimensions of supply risk and demand situation, the other is superior mineral resources assessed from two dimensions of resource advantage and market advantage.Through the evaluation of important non-metallic minerals, 20 kinds of non-metallic minerals were evaluated.11 kinds of non-metallic minerals including graphite, fluorite, pyrophyllite, high purity quartz raw material (vein quartz), phosphate rock, talc, potash, barite, boron, magnesium compounds and wollastonite were listed as important non-metallic minerals.Suggestions are put forward for the exploration of these 11 important non-metallic minerals, which can provide references for the national and commercial exploration deployment.
