    Study on the supply safety assessment of tin resources in China based on improved entropy weight analytic hierarchy process

    • As an important strategic resource in China, tin plays an important role in China’s economic development.In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economy, the shortage of tin resources has become increasingly prominent.It is of great significance to carry out supply safety evaluation of tin resources to improve resource security.Based on the data from 2000 to 2017, this paper establishes a Chinese tin resource safety evaluation index system including sixteen indicators from the four dimensions of resource factors, supply and demand factors, risk factors and sustainability factors, and evaluates the security of tin resources supply in China by using improved entropy weight analytic hierarchy process.The results show that the security status of tin resources supply is deteriorating in the interaction of resource factors, supply and demand factors, risk factors and sustainable factors, and the security level is from safety to danger.Although sustainable factors play a positive role in the supply security of tin resources, it cannot compensate for the negative impact of resource factors, supply and demand factors and risk factors on the supply security of tin resources.
