Development trend of basalt fiber materials industry in China

Basalt is a kind of rock in volcanic rocks formed by volcanic eruption and widely distributed on the earth.Traditional development and utilization of basalt are mostly used in building materials and stone materials, but these applications do not give full play to the advantages of basalt.With the emergence of continuous basalt fibers, the development, production and application of basalt have made a qualitative leap.In this paper, the authors introduce the basic situation of continuous basalt fibers and properties of continuous basalt fibers at first, emphatically analyze the development status and existing problems of continuous basalt fiber industry, at last provide the several suggestions.
